Around the same time, two of the owners of major “alt tech” platforms—Andrew Torba of Gab and Mike Adams (Health Ranger) of Brighteon—both come out with pieces about how important it is to embrace AI technology right now so we don’t get “left behind” in the race to the future.

Sounds remarkably like what the CEO of X—the website formerly known as Twitter—keeps telling us. They may claim to be the opposition yet seem to be propelling their base toward the same centralized, high-tech future. A future where the few platform managers control everything.
What we should be aiming for—if a parallel system is truly our goal—is decentralization, localization, simplification. We can’t beat these Goliaths by drinking more protein shakes in the hopes that it will make us big enough to outwrestle Gath’s undefeated champion. Think low, small, nimble in order to outmaneuver the lumbering behemoths. We have more of an edge in the real world and outside certain hotspot cities already controlled by the beast system.
It seems we are near the end of everything, but until Christ returns, we must figure out how to stay outside the evil System. I’m fine with dying myself and expect to not survive long without special infusions due to an acute malabsorption disorder. But I hate the thought of children starving. Conservatives are wrong when they assume childless, single women like me hate children.
Instead of playing around with apps to make goofy pictures, we should be meeting together in person locally to figure out how we can provide for one another’s basic needs when everything collapses. We need to be securing food supplies for families and communities since totalitarians always come after the food. As a Christian, I can’t just feed myself while my neighbors starve either.
We need to be building our own networks for communication and transportation that they do not directly control. Think a network of ham radios and CBs instead of their internet that relies on just a handful of servers they own. Think of local papers printed on mimeograph machines instead of the media they control. Think of lots and lots of real books instead of the shadows online which the technocrats can delete with a few keystrokes.
Yes, totalitarians can hold book burnings, block airwaves, smash presses. But that will be harder to do. Especially if we disconnect from the IoT. That’s why Mr. Global wants everything, and everyone caught in his worldwide web. Do we really want to make his task easy?
I guess I am far less optimistic than Torba, Adams and many others. Especially Trump supporters. And more so than others in the know who consider people like me naive.
From what I can see, AI is a false messiah much like DJT. It’s worth noting that many of the same people promote both. Could they be controlled opposition? Such techniques proved successful in founding the Soviet Union.
The hope based on Trump will likely lead to a civil war so costly that it won’t matter who the “winners” are supposed to be in the end. The hope based on mastering AI will keep people online when they should be preparing to kiss the internet goodbye thanks to Schwab’s impending “cyber pandemic.”
All you Christians, trust in the Lord. Even as the country we loved goes up in flames around us. Even as our nearest and dearest fall dead at our right hand and three die on our left.
The cross always leads to the resurrection. Those who follow Christ to the first can rest assured He will not abandon us to the grave forever either.
I am a new subscriber.
I think you hit the nail on the head with your points made in this post and I tend to agree with your assessment of things.
I have been trying to get my family to see the up coming events and they don’t seem to have any real concerns because nothing is affecting them yet. They say C19 is over time to move on and get back to normal.
I have come to a point now that all I can do is warn others of the dangers of this life and the one to come in the next if they don’t know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior which is the most important thing for them to know.
The children are the ones I am concerned about the most because their parents are not prepared and in turn won’t be able to guide their children through the storm.
Trust and have faith in Jesus as he will guide us through the valley of death.
Hi Mrs Nichols
Yes I agree DJT is not the answer. Civil upheaval is more than likely either way it goes. I will not trust AI in any fashion. It’s the elites way to control the world .
Any of the Churches near me which is WNC are missing in action as far as teaching of the days we are living in,which the end of the age. So there is no plan ,no preparedness as you spoke food shortages and on & on. Hold on to Jesus Christ my dear, cause we’re in for crash & burn type situations.
