Why are we in such a mess as we are today? Let me share a fable.
A ship had been at sea for well over a month. They had run out of food and were almost out of drinking water. The sailors were getting desperate.
Suddenly, the man in the crow’s nest called out that he had spotted land. The captain ordered that they set course. Soon he, and all the other men could see an island up ahead.
It was not a very big island, but it stuck out of the ocean. A nice green hill with vegetation. And, the captain hoped, some springs of water as well as fruit.
With the help of a brisk wind, they landed on the island and started to explore. There wasn’t a lot to see. No trees but some grass and shrubbery including berries. Before long they had gone from one end to another in multiple directions.
After gathering some driftwood, they gave up on looking for a spring for night. They made their way to the center of the island and put the wood together to start a bonfire.
To the shock of the men the island began to heave up and down. Then it shot out of the water.
The hideous truth was the “island” was really the back of a long-lived sea monster. Years ago it had risen to the surface to warm its back in the sun. Dirt had accumulated and things had grown in the soil accumulated on its back. Yet it remained a monster underneath.
The bonfire they started had warmed it more than it liked. So, it shook them off its back before diving below. Then rose to the surface one more time to devour most of the sailors.
Unable to make it back to their boat the remnant drowned.
This is the situation we find ourselves in today. Our most trusted institutions have betrayed us. Our elected officials have colluded with the CEOs of powerful mega-corporations—now integral to our economy—to rob and enslave the populations after killing and crippling a suitable number.
The big problem is that we have no real resources of our own. Simply breaking off from those in power is not feasible now.
Unlike the American colonists we are reliant on the “king” for everything. Maybe the collapsed supply chains will force us to establish a more self-reliant system till something better can be rebuilt?
Three things needed for this.
Look to God, our own industry, and our neighbors for help. Not the collective state nor some abstraction like The Science. The kind of “independence” our forefathers declared.
Quit doing the quick, easy, safe comfortable thing. Build our own or do without. Expect to get canceled. Better yet, cancel yourself.
Quit living in denial and look for others willing to acknowledge what is going on.
We are in deep trouble. Pretending that things will go back to the way they were—or even stay the way they are now—is not the answer.

This is the hopeless situation the Socialistically-Secured citizens (e.g. the digitally-marked foolish virgins within Christ’s Bride) of the UN “City of Destruction” find themselves in. Their most trusted democratic institutions, in this Orwellian Digital Age, have betrayed them. Their elected officials have colluded with the CEOs of the Marxist Beast’s powerful mega-corporations—now integral to the City of Destruction’s digital global economy—to rob and enslave the digitally-marked populations after killing and crippling a suitable number.
The big problem is that the foolish virgins do not have the Bridegroom’s infinite resources (i.e. lamp oil for their empty lamps) providing for their daily needs. Faithfully following in Christ’s holy footsteps and wisely coming out of Satan’s Socialistically Secured City of Destruction is diametrically opposed to their un-crucified, self-willed, democratic sin-nature.
Faithful and Christian Pilgrims wisely obey God’s Revelation 18:4 commandment and flee out of the Marxist City of Destruction. But, unlike the wise virgins/Christian Pilgrims, the foolish virgins idolatrously remain dependent-wards within the Beast’s Marxist Security System, from cradle to grave. Maybe the City of Destruction’s collapsed supply chains will force them to democratically establish a more self-reliant system till something better can be Humanistically rebuilt?
