I like your intelligence and passion. Speed kills ---even in communication. My thought is we are hooked on instant and the relative instant. Be Here Online Now. Imagine Jonesing for a 12 month. No keyboard, no internet, just you, and paper, writing with pen or machine No? Then ask if you can go 6? Personally I think for me a week. :) LOL

The good old days.

I was born in the fifties. Was in Highschool in the seventies. Everyone would meet at ball games, school activities and at the lake on the weekends. All interaction was in person with friends and family. One really got to know and understand each other’s personalities, lives, likes and dislikes. We bonded and most have remained close friends over the years.

Fackebook and other social networking takes that bonding away. Without that social and personal interaction no real relationship or bonding can occur. Because of this shift I believe it makes us easy pickings for the powers to be because we are more alone even though we can connect more easily through technology.

Just my thoughts after reading your post.

Are you on Facebook? I think that you would love my Vigilant Citizens group… we’re all one big happy family of “conspiracy theorists” 😊
