A zealous woman, Karen Shed. She made herself a nasty pill From her Macmansion on a hill, To gain some Facebook social cred. Her neighbors lost their livelihoods, As Karen cheered the lockdown on. Her city burned by ski masked hoods-- While Karen safely cheered them on. Alone, secure and oh so safe. She cheered each Cause that proved a fad. While people wept and burned and bled, She drank boxed wine--that Karen Shed. Within the comfort of her gates. When mask mandates finally went away She cursed small children for their play. Careful Karen showed she cared By pics, slogans and hashtags shared. A hollow woman. Empty cask. No face behind that ugly mask. A cross that Christian neighbors bear. When the Four Horsemen thundered through She vanished. Where? Nobody knew. Nobody asked. Or cared.
