Until a little over a year ago I was more a-millennial than anything.
But after months of observing, thanks to a British newsletter called “Lockdown Skeptic” how similarly governments around the world were behaving I grew uneasy.
Since I was a little girl, growing up in a fundamentalist house, going to a fundamentalist Christian school, and watching cheesy Christian films like A Thief in the Night I had known what was supposed to happen.
For no apparent reason this handsome, charming, charismatic guy pops up. He says, “Hey. I wanna take over the world. That okay with the rest of you guys?”
Everyone in the world—not just the world leaders—says “Well you look like a young Robert Redford. And we really dig your eastern European accent when you recite the UN countries. So okay.”
Then Nicolai Redford says, “Swell. Let’s ditch all religions and only have one which I’ll invent. Not like anyone of any religion would get upset over that. Let’s also force one language on everyone. LaHaye and Jenkins speak English—and conveniently that’s the language I picked. And—for no good reason at all except I think it sounds fun—let’s abolish every currency. Instead of cash or credit let’s just wear UCP tattoos—like we’re cans of soup—and get free stuff for showing it whenever we shop.”
Reporter: “But Benevolent Dictator of the world, what about all these Christian fundamentalist writings warning us about this kind of thing happening?”
Robert Carpathia: “Lucky for us, all those pesky Christians mysteriously evaporated out of their clothes last week. Like they had been saying they were going to since Scofield gave them those Bible decoder rings.”
Reporter: “Yeah. All the world’s children went missing too. Go figure. Lost three kids myself. Finally catching up on sleep. Nice to know we don’t have to worry about summer camp. And college tuition was getting really expensive too.”
Nicolai Robert Young: “Okay. Now to business. We’ll vote on what color ink to use for our UCP label tattoos. But first I’m going to show you a little magic trick. Mr. Security Guard, do you mind letting me borrow your gun for a moment? Thanks.
“Hey there, Kirk Cameron. Nice to see you made it back from the Men’s Room just in time. You almost missed the show….”
If you read Revelation 13 with an open mind, reading only what is there as it is written, you’ll notice a few things. The Beast or Lawless One is very powerful and deceitful. It has a second beast who uses lying signs and wonders—such as fire coming down from Heaven—to gain the worship of people. Not necessarily love but fear and amazement.
Fire coming down from Heaven in the full view of the people. A fearful wonder of modern technology.
The second beast deceives the inhabitants of the earth on behalf of the first. It orders everyone to set up an image in honor of the beast and gives breath to its image so that it can speak and cause all who refuse to worship to be killed.
Okay a television can provide some lifelike images that speak. But how could refusing to worship it or any of the speaking images get one killed? Plus no one has been forced to buy or use a TV.
How about a computer screen? Forbidding people to meet together normally or do much of anything without a screen as an intercessor? Compelling people everywhere to use the internet for work, school, church, family get-togethers. Hmm.
But refusing to worship any of the images won’t get you killed, you may argue. Not yet.
For starters, have you heard of cancel culture? But more about that later.
The Beast does not have to be handsome or charismatic. Just powerful and good at fooling lots of people.
He doesn’t have to look like a movie star or be a great orator. If he pulls the right strings, he can do a better job ruling the world from behind the scenes using inept but bribable puppets as the leaders of nations. The Son of Perdition could easily be a greasy, awkward computer nerd who prefers hiding because his inappropriately timed laughter would undermine public trust.
Note the world’s nations are not abolished but delivered over to the Beast. Ditto for all the “tribes” and languages.
Modern technology makes this all possible.
More about the expected (but unpromised) rapture next time. Then the currency and how people could be killed from far away via existing technology.
Interesting post. Easy to see how multitudes of people could be deceived by the upcoming beast system, just by looking at the past two years of international delusion.
Looking forward to additional observations. I observe also. John's Revelation is the real deal.
