Pop culture is dying. Mindless as it was, it still provided fun and enhanced social life.
Industrial Suicide
Corporate brands are dying. Check that. They’re not just falling over from accidents or old age. They’re deliberately doing things to destroy themselves.
Budweiser has always catered to the guys who guzzle low grade beer and scarf nachos while cheering for football on TV. All the sudden they hire a man who wears dresses the way Milton Burle, Jerry Lewis, and Flip Wilson used to for laughs. Not surprisingly the company goes belly up. What was surprising was how they persisted till too late.
Disney is dedicated to making horrible, low-quality movies. They pack in political messages that make many people even less eager to watch. Disney Plus and Netflix seem to have hired a bunch of misanthropes and narcissists for their writing staff. The characters are detestable—petty, spiteful, selfish, vindictive, jealous, only concerned with one-upping everyone else.
The female characters are the worst since the only emotions they’re allowed to display are smug or enraged. And they swap out former characters with other races for the sole purpose of being allowed to scream at the “toxic fans.” Because screaming hateful accusations and names at those with minds of their own is the new national past time.
A bunch of different brands are pulling the same thing. The Barbie doll, Polly Pocket, the 8 Ball. Worth noting that while Twitter still exists, it exists as X.
A lot of people applaud what’s happening. They see Budweiser go under and crow, “See? See? We are winning the culture war. We own the libtards!”
The CEO’s are nonplussed. A lot of “little people” have lost and continue to lose their livelihoods. And it looks like a lot of Hollywood writers will stay out of work long after the strike is called off.
Even more people are bemoaning the death of “our culture.” This makes me pause to evaluate the irony. Our culture was already dying. Over the years it degenerated into mindless “entertainment” on screens and corporate marketing brands. Not a sign of a healthy human society.
We have neither high art not folk art anymore. Nothing true and beautiful nor modest and accessible. Nothing to make us do or think or feel. Nothing to remind us of Heaven nor who we are as a people.
Why Are the Brands Suicidal?
Unlike the Luddite riots nothing about the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” is organic or spontaneous. The looms were set up and people chose to buy from the factories instead of the weavers who used obsolete hand looms. The same thing happened with horses and cars.
This is a top-down movement designed to artificially put people out of work without replacements. A horrible shortage of services and goods is sure to come. Even without taking the supply chain into account. This will cause horrible poverty (and death) unlike anything we Americans have ever dreamed could happen here.
Of course, this devastation will be blamed on capitalism. Otherwise known as people being allowed to buy or sell without interference or the free market.
And Covid (not the lockdown or the rioters who destroyed the small businesses that survived that torturous insanity.) And the climate change hysteria will be handy for blaming the impending famine upon, once the farmers lose their businesses because of regulations passed by global puppets.
But half will automatically believe their televisions. More than half of the other half will question but insist the mistakes are sincere. “Poor President Biden has dementia.” Klaus Schwab doesn’t seem to suffer Alzheimer’s though. We might all be better off if he did.
A bunch of people are attending the NWO films just to spite the “toxic fans” and show how “anti-racist” they are. They love trolling I’ve noticed. As a society our splintered demographics make it impossible to discuss anything—including cheesy entertainment—without getting hostile.
This is all part of the NWO agenda. They want us to fight all the time. Those of us who find their propaganda of hatred unendurable are cast off. Yet the wretched NWO slaves—a better term than “woke” for they are already the slaves of Klaus Schwab and those working with him as a front—frequently fight among one another when no normal people are around.
The NWO slaves are like Tolkien’s orcs in that regard. When there are no enemy hobbits/elves/men/dwarves to fight they’ll take to killing each other.
The entire garbage of identitarian politics is meant to provoke hatred despite the elitists’ appropriation of the term to refer to spiritual freemen. Those of us who refuse to live by the lies they’ve written for us. Who refuse to bend the knee to the hideous images of Baal, Ashtoreth, and Molech they have set up everywhere.
They want their women to sneer at and hold men in contempt. (I say their women because those of us who loathe what the elitists tell us to honor are already divided and purged.) They want different ethnic groups bickering and quarreling over who has claims on the most power due to supposedly not having enough. They want young people and children to mutilate their genitals and dress like members of the opposite sex in order to prove that they matter and have value in this depraved world we now inhabit. Just being human is not enough.
Our Culture Was Already on its Last Legs
This is what Papa Klaus says he envisions for his “economy of sharing and caring.” Only when he says, “Arts enabled and empowered to…paint the picture of a more humane economy” he really means, “Make a bunch of movies, TV shows, pop songs, and commercials depicting spiteful, vindictive dirt bags bent on one-upping those who are supposed to lead easier lives.” Inspiring others” means bribing or brainwashing them. “Collective mechanisms” means sponsorship by the shadow state so they can treat their fan base like garbage and ignore what they desire.
If corporate brands and mindless entertainment (junk food for the mind and heart) are the sum of American culture, it’s barely worth mourning. Disney’s version of The Little Mermaid from 1989 is still inferior to the original tale by Hans Christian Andersen.
And while Peter Jackson’s LOTR was breath taking it still did not possess the scope and depth found in Tolkien’s masterpiece. (Jackson failed to do justice to both Faramir and Frodo’s friendship with Sam. And he had to show what the Watcher looked like.)
Maybe we could learn to enjoy the fine arts together again by reading “The Little Mermaid” to our children or doing a group reading of the Lord of the Rings cycle. And learn the joy and satisfaction some call pride that comes from making our own goods.
A revival of the humble folk arts and folk culture is just what this world needs now. Blessed are the meek.
Soon artificial intelligence will write television and movie scripts and substitute for live actors. Maybe we could take all this one step further and have artificial intelligence watch all this garbage. Then actual human beings could spend their time doing something useful, like reading to a child.
